DJ Icey has established himself as "The King of The Funky Breaks". For years now kids from all over the world have been coming out to see and hear this Orlando native. It's easy for kids to see him live due to the fact that he's on the road most of the year. Quite simply, This is where it all started for the hardest working DJ in America. His spinning career got into full gear with his residency at the now defunct clubThe Edge. Not only did DJ ICEY use that time to pioneer funky breaks and launch his remix-producer career, he also made history by convincing the then unknown Chemical Brothers to play their first U.S. Show on July 4th, 1993 at The Edge.

DJ BABYANNE (Moonshine, Orlando)
In 1999, Baby Anne released her first mix, “Bass Queen In The Mix,” on Pandisc. With a crowd of over 2000 at the release party, held at Club 5 in Jacksonville, all signs were pointing towards a massive debut and the signs were right. Following the amazing success of “Bass Queen In The Mix,” Baby Anne released “Bass Queen In the Mix 2” in 2000. With an easy flow of new skool and old skool flavors, this mix marked a certain maturity on her part. The 11-track album features two of her original songs, “The Bass Queen” and “Abercrombie”. Baby Anne’s third disc, “Dark Side of The Boom” was released in September, 2001, featuring two of her own singles, “Probe” and “Pulse” along with singles from DJ Icey and up and comers Prizm & Eclipse

The Afterparty for the Global Session will be held club MANTRA a brand new Saturday Night Afterhours venue. With 2 rooms, the best lights and sound and special apprearances by guest dj's. This will also be a once a month after party which will go til 5am in the morning.

I think the opening djs deserve more than just a note showing that they are playing before them. Has to be some sort of accomplishment to recognize the locals for being given the opportunity. Doesn't matter how many times they've performed.
