Kintec 4 @ the Pacific Science center
Ive never started a thread on Northwest Techno before, so I'll gladly make this the first one for me...
Was seriously the best party I've been to in a long time. I was thinking to myself all night how awesome the vibe was, and then at the end of the night, herd someone else say with enthusiasm "the vibe at this party was awesome"!! It was such a diverse crowd, there were ravers, hippies, crazy costumes, goths, metal heads and everyone else all just having an awesome time!!The vibe of a party has to be there and I to be honest if the show didn't sell out it should have!! I met Brian of the future nurses at the beginning of the show and he remarked about how each stage had a crew behind it that was passionate about there style of music making everyone room completely unique and I completely agreed!! Every DJ I herd was bringing it all through out the science center! I had such a good time playing and didn't want it to end, or the entire night for that matter. But it did and I can not wait for the next Infinite Connections event. if didn't give into the urge to go play inside... next time you really should!!!

it's definitely earned its place among my top fave raves ever.
each room was so different and i loved how the whole atmosphere of each separate stage was unique~
not to mention that the vibes were thick all night long~
good job everyone who busted their asses off last night, because it really showed and made the night super special. <3

My toes feel bruised from all the dancing I did! I must have been doing a lot of toe pivots or something!
Kinetic was awesome, as I was expecting it to be. Pretty much the only time I wasn't dancing were quick trips into the bar and the migration from room to room. And of course, the peaceful tropical lushness of the butterfly garden. I was jealous that a butterfly decided to hang out on my friend's head for a time. I have wanted that to happen to me every time I have gone in there and that still has yet to happen!
There was a somewhat amusing spectacle of this dumb girl who was squealing in fear and freaking out because butterflies were flying around her. I never thought that butterflies could be scary to anyone, and why would you go into a butterfly garden if you can't handle being around butterflies?? Some people's kids.....
My favorite area was the drum and bass room for sure. Got a full dance on in there. It was so satisfying to be able to hear and dance to drum and bass for hours. Got down to Aksion and Kiro's sets, and Demo and soundwave. Danced a bit by the sexy house stage, especially during DeepVibez and Ramiro, but that area didn't have the most ideal feng shui for dancing as it seemed to be mostly a walk-way for people. Saw some really cute gay bois voguing it up on the dance floor there.
Didn't really spend too much time in the psytrance room except for a tiny bit, and I completely forgot about the Chillography stage until we were leaving at the very end. It was nice that it lasted a half hour longer than I thought it would, but I was definitely feeling tuckered that last half hour or so. I think I might have even *gasp* sat down for a little bit!
Saw a lot of familiar sweet faces, and had lots of nice little dancing interactions with others. Seemed like most everyone was in a really good mood, and had lots of dancing energy. Yay! Saw quite a few colorful creative outfits too. I sported a pair of my old pink phatties that I made almost a decade ago and they made the dancing more fun with their flowing goodness.
But awesome, wonderful night. W00t!

This was my first rave and it was definitely the greatest night of my life. Met loads of cool people, tons of neat costumes and light shows and the music was absolutely full of energy.

Kinetic, once again, delivered a totally awesome experience! I love these shows and I hope every one did a good job at being respectful to the PSC so we can come back for Magnetic! I know I picked up some stray pieces of trash myself.
The vibe was amazing! I got more hugs at this rave then any other event I've been to. Thank you all who figured out WHY I was standing with my arms outstreched. Someone mentioned me getting a sign for 'Free Hugs' but I figure those who want it, know why I'm there... those who don't, don't. You guys were amazing and I completely enjoyed myself through and through!
Can't wait for the next IC event! You guys are awesome!

I saw you and I knew "WHY" you were standing there but that doesn't mean that I wanted to give/receive a hug. I'd rather vibe with someone on the dancefloor. So, don't assume that everyone who walked past you didn't know what you were doing. No disrespect meant, however.

I've only missed one of the Science Center parties, so I can say that this one surpassed the previous high standard.
I've never seen any of them get that busy that quickly. There were a lot of people who'd driven a long way, and plenty who'd never been to a Science Center party before.
Best musical surprise: Hendrik. I'd somehow managed never to hear him before.
Love Virus and Future Nurses brought it, as I knew they would.
I can't wait for the next one!

This is how we party with love and respect, everyone here to connect with the music and witness the passion of each of the crews. So in love with what they do and it shines so clearly in my mind. Thank you so much to all the amazing people who came and made that thick happy vibe that I could not help but feel. So many of you so clearly get what an awesome gift the science center has given the Seattle community and understand the love and hard work put into each room. Thank you for the level of respect you gave the venue and each other. It made me really proud of our city.
I have so many thoughts and thanks, but dinner and coffee are more important after working all morning and sleeping all day.
So. much. fun.

I wouldn't have included you amongst those I were referring to. No disrepect would I assume. I meant those who just looked at me questionably and didn't have a clue what I was doing. I know some people don't want hugs from strangers, and that's exactly why I don't go hugging people who don't approach me. To each their own and I'm totally cool with that.

And people like you are one of the many reasons I come to raves! There is nothing wrong with being nice to a stranger. Life is becoming so unpersonable that sometimes its nice to just be close to someone, regardless of who they are. Gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

Kinetic 4 was definitely the best indoor show of the year, and I think it'll hold that title all year. After searching around and getting a feel for the place, I (unsurprisingly) spent almost all my time in the Psytrance stage. Loved the Future Nurses and Coral's sets as I knew I would, and Deedrah was awesome! I got a lot of positive feedback on my light-suit and my staff, so thanks to everybody for that
Can't wait to see pictures!!

Kinetic 4 Video :D
Hey Guys. Maybe a lot of you guys saw me walking around...maybe you didn't. I was the dude walking around with the heavy duty video camera, getting all kinds of amazing footage of Kinetic 4!!! IC asked me to come down and get shots of the entire event, edit it and get it out there! Maybe you saw my Camera 25 feet in the air on the mono-pod getting shots of the crowds, or maybe you smiled and waved to the camera as I passed by... regardless, the video (when finished) is going to be AMAZING! Hit me up if you guys want the link when I get it all posted. We are thinking (depending on how popular it gets) that we may even make DVD copies. Not entirly sure about that just yet. Mad Kudos to IC for throwing yet another EPIC Kinetic! The night went down witohut a hitch, and from what I saw, everyone had a blast!
I got some seriosuly awesome HD footage from all over... I hope you guys are excited to see it, as I am to get it all edited and finalized. Kinetic 4 was awesome... I'm glad we were able to immortalize it on film!

Kinetic 4 was amazing! I have never been to a party/rave/show that I have considered to be "beautiful" until Kinetic 4. I had heard amazing things about Kinetic 3 (unfortunately missed it) and was disappointed to hear that it was going to be potentially the "last" of the Kinetic series. Kinetic 4 set a new standard for what I feel good parties/raves/shows should be like.
Also, much love and respect to those behind the scenes that made this night possible! Thank you all!
I had a blast! <3

This. The psytrance room blew my mind, particularly Coral's set just as I knew it would. I WANT to give this event a straight 5/5 because it ended on such an amazing note (I left feeling spectacular), the venue was SPECTACULAR (as expected), and the crowd was GREAT! No prostitots but everybody was clearly very into the music and the culture. Tons of burners and crossdressers and ravers and even some middle-aged folk. I love the diversity!!! The only reason I feel I wouldn't give this event a straight 5 is because a bulk of the music was very unexciting to me (except the psytrance room of course). Still, I would -absolutely- go back again and I had a blast! I had a very difficult experience before the rave, though, and things will probably go better for me next time.
