In the IOSIS Art Party Insect Trance:
Deedrah (LIVE - Mind Control, TIP.World, BOA Group, Spun - FR)

Dado aka Frédéric Holyszewski repeatedly woos crowds and longtime fans to the beat of his new productions. These ranging from his solo projects as Deedrah, as he is known in the circuit for 15 years now, or the most recent of his bands formed little over 2 years ago, the KromeAngels, he stands to face anywhere between 5 to 30 thousand eager fans on gig!! Once in the scene in the mid 90’s, first as a self-made rock band, Vision Quest, which later dissolved, Dado met Christophe Drouillet with whom he would form the legendary group Transwave. Only 3 months later they release the first album under a small French label “Transpact”. This was only the beginning, and in only 2 years they reached mind blowing success releasing 3 albums. In ’97 Dado created QuestionMark records to establish a structure for French and international artists providing not only a label for promotion but also supporting a recording and production system. The first Deedrah album “Self-Oscillation” was released under this label. Under the QuestionMarks label he would cooperate with artists like TSUYOSHI, SUZUKI, ASTRAL PROJECTION, SID SHANTI, AVI ALGRANATI, TOTAL ECLIPSE and also remixes for THE DELTA, HALLUCINOGEN, or KILLING JOKE. As if it were not enough, Dado also created another alias SYNTHETIC initially releasing the fantastic Metalgear EP with TWISTED rds. later releasing a first album on SOLSTICE MUSIC and not the least, DANDANdDADO where the epic Diamond Dust came to life! The Dado snowball kept picking up momentum growing like an avalanche and at this moment he, together with DMT NAKOV and SERGE SOUQUE of Total Eclipse came together to form GBU (the good, the bad and the ugly ). Dado kept himself busy again , contracted by sony to composed the opening tune and sound effects of the ps2 game grand turismo 3 . Instantly making a stand, his presence soon became known through his sexy melodic beats, Dado inevitably began attracting world-wide attention to his DJ sets and Lives in destinations all over the world, gaining the opportunity to work alongside different talent which not only influenced his future but still regard him as a master in the engineering and technical aspect of music production. Loyal fans can be pleased to know that he is hard at work with new Deedrah to be released early 2010. http://www.myspace.com/deedrah
Osiris Indriya is a true magician behind the decks. His studies in ritual magick and music composition combined with his experience as a co-founder and resident of the legendary Oracle Gatherings of the Pacific NW have inspired consistent explosive sets of tribal percussion, deep atmospheres, and chunky relentless basslines. His hard and funky tribal progressive sound has been featured along side Simon Posford (Shpongle / Hallucinogen - Twisted Records), Ticon (Digital Structures), Atmos and Human Blue (Spiral Trax / ACDC) and has made him as an official label DJ for Iboga Records from Denmark ( www.iboga.dk). Osiris has performed peak hour sets at Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo, BC; the Earthdance hub event in Laytonville, California; The Dreamtime Festival in Paonia, CO; The Double 6 in Kuta, Bali; and countless underground forest parties, beach parties, club nights and concerts all over the US, Canada, and Japan. Driven to take Seattle to the next level, Osiris has been deep into creating several projects. He co-founded Infinite Connections to bring the best of Europe's tribal progressive trance music and world class art to the Pacific Northwest in a series of events called IOSIS Art Parties. All this has helped inspire the release of his all original progressive and downtempo CD, "Reach Within", a remix of Antix "Little Honey" with Australia's SunControlSpecies released by Iboga Records on the album "Twin Coast Remixes" and the prerelease track "Gifted" which has had regular rotation on SomaFM's Groove Salad internet radio. http://www.osirisindriya.com
Amanita - Amanita ~ From the rain soaked environment of the NorthWest and with a deep connection to electronic music, Brian Parker DJ, Producer, Promoter and A&R Representative for Infinite Connections continues to be featured alongside a global family of innovative and underground electronic music producers including Hallucinogen, Shpongle, KoxBox, Ticon, Atmos, Antix, Ace Ventura and FreQ at a variety of festivals, gatherings, club nights and events up and down the the Americas. Having been a integral part of various crews in California and the NorthWest for the better part of a decade Brian teamed up with Infinite Connections in 2005 to help shape and create a series of events known as "IOSIS Art Parties". Bringing together a world of audio and visual alchemy IOSIS Art Party continues to merge the many exciting media available to artists and musicians to create interactive events and gatherings that are like no other. While maintaining a deep respect for his hard psychedelic roots Amanita now seeks to bridge the crossover between the deeper side of progressive, electro and psychedelic trance while using original tracks, sampling and studio edits to create his own unique driving sound. http://www.myspace.com/djamanita
Coral (T.O.U.C.H Samadhi - SEA)

Coral began her djing journey in 1999 when she was introduced to the irresistible sounds of psytrance. Playing all over the US at different parties and festivals...she has become thoroughly immersed in the music and brings her love of psytrance for the last ten years to you... Coral is passionately involved in her sets, taking you places with pure energy and non stop driving beats!
Defib's transition into the electronic music scene began in late 2005. With ten years of performance as a bass player nationally and internationally under is belt, he was drawn in by the irresistible sounds of psychedelic trance. Never one to do things the easy way Defib strives to bring elements of his experience in live music to his all original sets. Building from the ground up Defib seamlessly blends bits of funk, punk, metal and jazz with the sounds of electro, break beat and psytrance. Often incorporating live guitar and synths, Defib's energy on stage is highly addictive, a hallmark of his years in the Seattle punk rock scene. Currently residing in the greater Seattle area Defib is working his way into the party and club scene after a few years in the southwest. His style is one to listen for and is guaranteed to make you move your feet on the dance floor.

In the Uniting Souls Animal House:
NordicTrax label founder Luke McKeehan has been keepin' it real behind the decks since 1985, in the process becoming one of Canada 's most celebrated house DJs. As a veteran of Toronto's warehouse scene in the 1980's, Luke's contribution to Canada's ever-growing dance culture runs deep. He has hosted and played alongside Danny Tenaglia, Ben Watt, Mark Farina, Doc Martin, DJ Heather, Gilles Peterson, Jazzanova, Little Louie' Vega, as well as opened for St. Germain, Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, Jamiroquai and David Bowie. Extensive touring has taken him to world reknown venues/parties such as Lazy Dog + Buzzin Fly (London), Gravity Music Festival (France), La Fabrique (Tokyo), Rebel Waltz (Scotland), Smart Bar (Chicago), The Room (Madrid), and many more. His innovative DJ sets and critically-acclaimed productions have earned him fans in every corner of the globe, and through Nordic Trax he has played a pivotal role in helping push Canadian dance music in new and exciting directions. Nordic Trax releases have been widely licensed to compilations, web and TV advertisements, as well as film and TV productions large and small. Clients include Queer As Folk, Nike, Defected Records, Om Records, Sony Canada, Sony Sweden, Puschkin Vodka, UCMG France, PIAS Germany, Global Underground, Max Music, Turbo Recordings, Dune, Blast Radius, Alliance/Atlantis, and many others. Help us give Luke a warm welcome to Seattle!
A native of Bluefields, a small Caribbean port on Nicaragua’s legendary Miskito coast, Ramiro was exposed to multi-cultural music from an early age, including Afro-Caribbean soca, reggae, salsa, and other Latin rhythms. This experience was enhanced by his subsequent years growing up in New Orleans, where blues, jazz and funk permeated the region's rich music culture, and where Ramiro also discovered new wave, punk, and other non-mainstream music which emphasized creativity and community over commercialism. During his college years in San Francisco, Ramiro converged upon the electronic music phenomenon that was exploding. From the Wicked Full-Moons to The Gathering and Freedom parties, to Come-Unity, Zendada, Stompy, and the legendary Sunset outdoor and boat parties, Ramiro drew inspiration from being a part of the unfolding West Coast underground movement. With the support of friends, Ramiro began producing his own events in 1995, showcasing the talents of many local artists, musicians, and friends. And thus, in 1997, Uniting Souls was born. As founder, Ramiro worked actively to build community through the power of house music. Uniting Souls quickly gained a reputation for top-notch events with incredibly good vibes! Since making Seattle his new home in 2000, Ramiro has been "an inextinguishable accelerant of Seattle's house scene" (cover story - Seattle Weekly - Nightlife issue - 10/29/03), producing over 400 events, featuring top-tier local, national, and international talent - including Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Doc Martin, Little Louie Vega, Marques Wyatt, Johnny Fiasco, Kaskade, Miguel Migs & Lisa Shaw, Dubtribe Sound System, Inland Knights, and hundreds of others - laying the foundation for a strong, art-minded community. All the while, Ramiro has spearheaded the record label branch, Uniting Souls Music. In addition to wearing all these hats, Ramiro LOVES dj'ing, with 12 years experience behind the decks, and a penchant for deep, techno-influenced house – “jazz-like, dreamy patterns and percussive layers, looped around heavy bass lines threaded with an urgent physicality” (Seattle Weekly - Best of Seattle 2009 issue - 7/29/09). Ramiro gets lots of love from the community, playing a remarkable 100 shows per year on average. His current Seattle residencies include Play, 4th Fridays at See Sound Lounge (since May 2004), Fam Funk, 1st Fridays at Electric Tea Garden, Late Night Mass, 3rd Fridays at the Transcendent Church of Bass, and quarterly events at Capitol Hill hotspot, Neumos. Deep. Techy. Soulful. And always with a positive vibe!
The LoveVirus is a much-loved mainstay of the Seattle EDM community and has been dosing dance floors with a healthy helping of house for over four years. Influenced by many genres and inspired by a genuine love of life, The LoveVirus is now producing his own tracks, saturating each beat with his signature positive energy. His experience as a DJ along with a true ear for fresh sounds has manifested a bright new producer whose tight tracks are infused with a keen knowledge of movement-making beats. The LoveVirus creates music that makes you more than dance- it makes you love. You have been infected. As a founding member of Seattle Burning Man Crew Booty Resin, The LoveVirus has led troupes of dance hungry fiends across deserts and forests in search of butt shaking beats up and down the West Coast. Booty Resin is well known locally for throwing community-based dance events in support of Seattle artists and the electronic music culture of the city- and having a hell of a time doing it. The LoveVirus has slammed such parties as Seattle’s Decibel Festival 07-08, Epidural, Fenix Fest, SIDW, Magnetic/Kinetic, Spy, Broken Disco, Gemini Party, XXX-mas, and Urban Revival (Portland Bus Party), touching many people’s hearts in the process with his love for the community he moves. This in-demand DJ has shared the stage with Innerflight, Shameless, Produkt, DJ Heather, and novaTRON and is also a resident of Uniting Souls. Presiding over the very popular monthly “Catch the LoveVirus” at Club Contour in downtown Seattle for over two years, the LoveVirus commands the dance floor with seamless mixing and on-point track selection, dropping sets of pounding house that are aggressively inspiring and guarantee you will walk off the dance floor with a smile on your face, ready to spread the epidemic of music euphoria.
This is no passing bug; this is the LoveVirus. His music is fatal to empty dance floors and stale sets everywhere, and there is no vaccine- only love.
Derrick’s Bay-Area roots reflect in his DJ sets as well as his production work, which seamlessly blend organic elements of deep, funky, jazzy, house with darker, more electronic, techy sounds – heavy (yet not oppressive) bass-lines, dreamy, abstract melodies, sophisticated loops and percussive layers, all tinged with a tribal, psychedelic edge. A resident of Seattle since 2004, and a Uniting Souls resident DJ since 2006, Deepvibez has kept busy in the studio, as well as on the stage, performing at 200+ shows, alongside the greats of house, including Mark Farina, Doc Martin, Miguel Migs, Johnny Fiasco, Justin Martin, Kaskade, Chuck Love, DJ Heather & Colette, to name a few. He has held residencies and performed at Seattle's top venues, including Neumos, Trinity, Chop Suey, Last Supper Club, Rebar, Heaven, Contour, and a 3-year residency at See Sound Lounge, as well as performing at some of the Pacific Northwest's most respected festivals and underground events, including Decibel and Photosynthesis. His current residencies include Late Night Mass, 3rd Fridays at the Transcendent Church of Bass, and Fam Funk, 1st Fridays at the Electric Tea Garden. Look for some forthcoming breakthrough releases from one of Seattle's hardest-working electronic musicians.
One late summer evening in the early 00's, Michito dropped a needle on an old dusty record to inaugurate a festive evening which he will never forget for the rest of his life, his very first DJ set. Originally being drawn to dance music by Brazilian funk and contemporary cross-over Jazz, he now finds himself fond of diversity, effectiveness and the possibilities in House and Techno music. Having been featured in some notable events in the last several years in the Pacific Northwest, he also now hosts his own residencies. A weekly at the Musiquarium, a lounge which operates concurrently with Seattle's world famous venue, the Triple Door. Titled "DUENDE", the night focuses on deep, organic and jazzy flavors from divergent genres, with an electronic and eccentric foundation. His latest endeavor "Beaux Chateaux" is his place of interpretation in modern club music, mature yet adventurous sounds which can be caught yet never captured. For the coming days, he plans to create his own compositions, cover more continents, and to find himself in situations that will encourage spontaneity. "With constant influences of the past and the present greats, the future surely is enthralling and yet ever elusive."

In the Chillography Downtempo Dinosaur:
Rena Jones (LIVE - Cartesian Binary Recordings - PDX)

Jones slips through the veils of defined sound, weaving cello, violin, woodwinds, rhodes, electronics and sound design through unique instrumentation. Her tracks have been released with several reputable international labels as Iboga, Spun Records, Aleph Zero, Ultimae, Native State Records and she’s celebrating the launch of her new label Cartesian Binary Recordings. Two of Jones’ albums have been chosen in the top 25 essential albums of the year on NPR Echoes Radio in 2006 and in 2009. Multiple tours around North America and Europe have lead Rena to perform at some of the worlds most established cutting edge electronic music festivals; Glade Festival (UK), The Secret Garden Festival (UK), Shambhala Music Festival (Canada), Lightning in a Bottle as well as tour support for Plaid and opener for Ladytron. Jones’ live sets are a potent sonic session. She orchestrates her violin and cello over hand crafted beats melding the organic with the electronic. Her performance is a sophisticated example of the modern movement in electronic dance and ambient music.
Gel-Sol (LIVE - Em:t Records, Upstairs Recordings, Psychonavigation Records - SEA)

My name is Andy and I make music. Sometimes I make ambient music and sometimes I make music with beats. Sometimes I make experimental noise and sometimes I cut up funny samples and make collages. Either way, it's kinda trippy. Making music is so much fun! *fart* I have several Gel-Sol albums out and about for sale, and a side project called Kids For Tomorrow. I have played all over the United States, and in Canada, England and Ireland. But this isn't about me…oh wait, yes it is. You can visit my website at gel-sol.com for more info, including live shows and mixes. Gel-Sol is your pal. Thanks again for reading my bio!
DJ Eckoe (Ultimae Records, Chillography - SF)

Based out of the San Francisco underground chill/ambient tribe, Eckoe is a strong advocate and acolyte of the psyambient and deep psychedelic chill sound, and is one of Ultiame Records resident DJs for the west coast region. Using the love for the obscure and interest in electronic development within the music and visual art realms, DJ Eckoe started highlighting his time with sharpening his skills and abilities as a DJ, promoter, and space artist in and throughout the Texas/Seattle trance, ambient, and burner communities with such collectives as Molecular, Texaliens, Shiva Shakti, UMP, Mistical Productions, Atrium Obscurum, Last Laugh and is one of the co-founders of Chillography.
By fusing processed cello with subtle beats and ambient textures, Chris Haines (Crispy/Leave Trace/Chillography) and John Ames (EQlateral) explore the sonic realms that exist between acoustic and synthetic, between sequenced and improvised.
Hendrik (Transcendent Church of Bass, Chillography - SEA)

Hendrik has a passion for community, and a vision to match it. The man behind the Church of Bass has made a huge impact in the Northwest electronic music community. He is also a talented DJ and performer, with a diverse repertoire of music sure to stimulate the senses. His sets are intentional and tailored to his audience and usually span multiple genres, with a focus on downtempo, dub, and breaks.

In the Drum and Bass Tuesdays Playground:
Headliner change:
As you may know, Baron is very busy working on several film projects. Unfortunately, one of those projects ran over schedule and he will not be able to join us for Kinetic 4. He sends his deep regrets. Fortunately for us, an opportunity opened for an amazing artists that we were lucky enough to snatch:
Kiro (Simplify Recordings, Infected Logic, Ammunition Recordings, Trust In Music - Sacramento/London, UK) DNB ON 3 DECKS

Kiro has been producing and engineering professionally since 1995. Previously going under a string of alises, his name adorns at least 156 tracks, though he's responsible for many more - either unlisted (for various reasons) or forgotten. After leaving music entirely for several years and returning in an unknown alias, he has quickly become regarded as one of Drum & Bass's most lethal secret weapons.
Demo (Human/Barcode, Cymbalism, D&B Tuesdays, 360 BPM - SEA)

Seattle’s Demo could be called an overnight success, but only if that night lasted eleven years. A founding member of the 360BPM crew, Demo promotes the longest-running D&B weekly in the United States, Drum And Bass Tuesdays. He has also had a huge hand in the inception & growth of Seattle’s Drum and Bass scene. Years of warming up the decks for some of the biggest acts in Drum and Bass & countless hours in the studio proved fruitful when Barcode’s 2005 releases of "Us Against the World" & "Gorilla Taktiks" with Infiltrata catapulted Demo to new heights. In 2008, Demo & production partner Cease, created the massively epic “Ladies Night”, which has been called “one of the absolute sickest Human (Recordings) releases to date” by label owner Dieselboy & has received overwhelming support by Drum and Bass’ heaviest hitters. Caned by everyone from Andy C & Grooverider to Diesel Boy & Shy FX, the controversial Ladies Night has been licensed for 4 mixed CDs, including Andy C’s 10 Years of Drum and Bass compilation for Drum and Bass Arena. With a steady stream of well-received tunes & excellent skills behind the decks, you can definitely see why Demo definitely has crowd control!
Aksion (D&B Tuesdays, Satisfaksion)

Christopher Moist aka Aksion (pronounced 'action') always listened to all genres of music: hip hop, surf rock, funk, R&B, classical, soul, metal, punk, reggae, dancehall, blues, jazz, oldies, country and more. In 1998 Chris moved from Vegas to Seattle. During these years, he MC'd with a local hip hop crew. A couple years later, after splitting ways with the group, he got hooked to the sounds of the local rave scene, which led to his passion for dj'ing. From 2000-2003, Aksion developed as a house party dj going from strength to strength playing: hip-hop, funk, house, techno, breaks, hard house, nrg and goa. The CD that changed it all was Aphrodite's "Urban Jungle". In this mix, Aksion heard all the things that he liked best in music. From that he followed all forms of jungle & drum n bass. In 2005 he met Jessica Truax of Tytan Productions. Through her he met Aaron Simpson and under their guidance was able to take what he loved and develop himself into the dj he is now. Aksion is known for throwing down high energy, fun sets that covers a wide range of drum 'n bass, and more recently dubstep. Since 2005, he has opened for the likes of: DJ Hype, Bassline Smith, Mampi Swift, Marky, Calyx, Teebee, Goldie, Photek, Dieselboy, Fresh, AK1200, Enduser, Submerged, KJ Sawka, Reid Speed, Danny Byrd, 12th Planet & SPL. Aksion is also a resident on www.c895worldwide.com/89.5 FM's The Vortex. He also plays out regularly at the local dnb weeklies @ The War Room & Baltic Room, Last Supper Club and Deep Down Lounge as well as for crews like Red Cube, Shift, Next Level, Onset, Beat Affinity, Marble, P3E & Kryptonite.
Craig DeBolt aka John Glist (a play on the term "junglist") began djing D&B in 1999. In 2004 he teamed up with hip hop crew Okizoo and began doing crossover events with them. 7 years later he moved to Seattle where he teamed up with Live n Love productions and Seattle Underculture (rip) for the well known "Renegade Bridge Parties". Also a finalist in the 1Love Annual Drum and Bass DJ battles, he now hold a residency at Drum and Bass Tuesdays, as well as playing at Onset and SOMA events. Now honing his production skills with D-Struct and Crime.wav, look out for tunes from him and others in the near future!

Jacob a.k.a Dj MbM - Jacob started going to clubs & parties in the late 90's and by 2002, he had decided to presue his dream and met a great friend with a similar vision in mind. Together they began what has become Nalij Productions. They helped develop/organize multiple events, encompassing everything from electronica, live bands, and acoustic acts to hip-hop. Jacob also is not just one of the djs, he is also the graphic designer and the face of West Coast Nalij. To him, the root of music is more than important, it's crucial. Understanding the history, structure, evolution, technology and the future, develops a deeper respect and appreciation for music in general. Although break-beats are his fav (D&B, Breaks, Hip-Hop), he strives to play all styles, free-style. Dark, booming, earth-shaking bass and gritty-grimey drum-lines make this dj's heart go pitter-patter.
Soundwave's passion to music stretches as far back as he remembers being influenced at a early by rock influences like G.W.A.R., Mettallica, and Pantera. Around the same time he was influenced by Hip Hop Artists like Wu-tang, Notorious BIG, and Mobb Deep, giving him a very diverse taste in music. Drum and Bass itself is also very diverse allowing for the conjuction of both together under one genre. Having played in Seattle for 5 years Soundwave has spun multiple genres of dance music but feels the most at home with drum and bass. Being known for having mind blowing energy behind the decks Soundwave is sure to make a name himself where ever he goes.

Very excited to see this set of parties coming back. It's a really cool place for a shindig. Remember kids, make sure to be as clean as possible not only in the event but outside the event, as well. I know there have been some complaints in the past from both staff and neighbors, so please try and do your best to ensure that these parties can continue this time around.

Someone like at Whiteout was telling me that Kinetic 4 was happening and I responded with a "don't play with my emotions man." So glad to hear this is happening again. I hope all that attend will respect the venue so we can use it more often.

Thanks so much for mentioning this. The trash inside and out was one of the sticky negotiation points for us. We had to promise the PSC that we would do a better job keeping things clean. Any help we can get would be greatly appreciated!
To all the promoters out there, you are more than welcome to put your flyers at the merch table - we want to help promote your shows, but please don't hand them out to the people during the event. Most people don't have pockets so they end up on the floor and then we have to pick them up. We will happily tell everyone at the door where the flyer table is and encourage them to pick up all the flyers they want to take home with them!!!!!
And now... I go back to my planning.... so excited!!!!!!
