Tonight, I'll just be dj'ing BASS!!!
You probably know what Miami Bass is, especially if you went roller skating at the hugely popular Bass Skate night I helped organize a couple years ago.
But what is Detroit Bass? Well, the dudes in the Detroit techno/electro scene, especially around Direct Beat label in the 90's, called some of their sound "techno bass", and even had the "Warning this record contains Bass" type of art and audio bits.
Some artists in that vein are/were Aux 88, Cybonix, DJ K-1/Keith Tucker, Sektor 17, Detroit In Effect, Mark Taylor (Chronic Tronic). Some proof Techno Bass was a sound at one time:

Of course you can use it for your logo!

I can make you a 'flat' view (rather than that skewed angle) in larger form if you like, so you can scale it and such. The original is actually the same size as the flyer....:/ I'll try drawing it before the show tomorrow and scan it. I'm really into doing some design 'branding' if you are into some other elements being made via illustration methods.

btw, I try to get in and set up at 8:30...I've been late before, but there are tables and everything we need there...including an old mackie 1202
