LOUD (Drive Records - Israel) are Kobi Toledano & Eitan Raiter, from the city of Haifa, Israel. Kobi was infected by the psychedelic trance bug and movement back in 1996, while visiting his first open air, underground event, held in the beautiful Carmel Forests. After completing his mandatory service in the IDF, he packed his bag & flew to NYC, exactly during the time the psychedelic trance has taking the city by storm, dominated by Israeli & Italian promoters. 2000 Kobi begins his degree in Sound Engineering (Jordan Valley College) and begins to experiment in sound. During this specific era he partnered with an old & dear friend, Samuel Velerstein (aka Black & White), mutually producing music under the name "Chain Reaction". In time Kobi has opened a recording studio, GAIA STUDIO, which focused on additional genres such as Jazz, Rock & Hip Hop. Eitan stepped into by the psychedelic trance bug in 1996, the second he laid his hand on a GOA TRANCE cd. Since than he begun to take active part in underground events and produce Psytrance & chill out breezes as a hobby. In time his production just got better & better a fact which lead a lot people around him to convince him that he should take things to another level... 2 year's ago Kobi's & Eitan's paths crossed while visiting a local bar. Their Cosmic connection was triggered immediately & lead to the formation of LOUD. LOUD is definitely one of the finest new breeds of Psychedelic trance producers significant and daring new sound, fresh & powerful always seeking to expand their knowledge and results. Loud released their debut album "Some Kind Of Creativity" during the end of 2006, which took the world by storm, with its unique, fresh & innovative sound. Recently Loud have released V/A Private Lesson CD + Bonus - Loud The Edge Maxi CD, a massive release including massive names such as Sub-6, Psysex, Cosma, Black & White and loads more... These days Loud are busy performing and completing their second studio album, expected 2008. http://www.myspace.com/loudkobireiter
BLUE SPECTRAL MONKEY (TOUCH Samadhi, Interchill - Portland) Having played over 300 events across 22 states and Canada, BSM is well known for his full-spectrum of musical selections. Being an Interchill Label Dj, you know he has the downtempo grooves! After 9 years in Asheville, NC, organizing events with TOUCH Samadhi, and lots of jedi training, he can definitely create mayhem on the dance floor. He's always reaching for the fun, funky, bouncing tracks that keep you moving and your mind fully melted. His last visit to Seattle was in 2003, where he blasted the sunrise at Prosperity, and now he lives in Portland, so expect to see and hear a lot more from this spectral being! http://www.bluespectralmonkey.com
OSIRIS INDRIYA (Iboga Records, IOSIS Art Party) and AMANITA (Psybooty Records, IOSIS Art Party) 2x2 DJ set
Osiris Indriay is a legend of the West Coast Underground Dance scene. He has been featured with underground artists such as Brian, Brad, and Trevor of L.A. Moontribe, and Lorin (Bassnectar) from Santa Cruz/SF, CA. Osiris has also been featured along side recording artists Atmos, Ticon (Digital Structures – Sweden), Human Blue (Spiral Trax, chill code - Sweden), Ganga Giri (Australia) and SunControlSpecies (Zenon, Iboga - Australia), as well as Antix, FREq, Beat Bizarre, and DJ Banel from Danish Progressive label Iboga Records where he is now an official label DJ. All this while playing at forest, desert, beach, and indoor gatherings, club nights, and festivals up and down the west coast, as well as internationally including the Double 6 in Kuta, Bali and Shambhala Music Fesival in Nelson, Canada. Driven to take Seattle to the next level, Osiris has been deep into creating several projects. He has teamed up with Infinite Connections to bring the best of Europe’s tribal progressive trance music and world class art to the Pacific Northwest in a series of events called IOSIS Art Parties. As co-founder of the Oracle Gatherings, he is bringing a new paradigm in a growing dance community by integrating with the Northwest’s mythical undercurrent. All this has helped inspire the release of his all original progressive and downtempo CD, "Reach Within". http://www.osirisindriya.com/
Amanita From the rain soaked environment of the North West and with a deep love for electronic music, Brian Parker local dj, producer, promoter and A&R Representative for Infinite Connections has been featured alongside a global family of innovative, and underground electronic music producers such as Hallucinogen, KoxBox, Ticon, Atmos, Jaia, Shpongle, Antix, Ace Ventura, Sun Control Species, and FreQ at a variety of festivals, gatherings and events up and down the Left Coast of the Americas. Having helped to throw events with various groups in California and the NW for the better part of a decade Brian teamed up with Infinite Connections in 2005 to help shape and create a series of events called IOSIS Art Parties. Bringing together a world of audio and visual alchemy IOSIS Art Party continues to merge the many exciting media available to artists and musicians to create interactive events and gatherings. While maintaining a deep respect for his psychedelic roots Amanita now seeks to bridge the crossover between progressive, electro and psychedelic trance while using original music, sampling and studio edits to create a unique and driving dancefloor experience. http://iosis.tribe.net; http://www.myspace.com/iosisartparty
CRISPY (Beat On! - Seattle) Starting his DJ career when it was still called Goa, Crispy knows how to weave an irresistible set that's fun, moving and fresh. With nearly 12 years behind the decks, he expertly covers the gamut from deep ambient and ethereal downtempo, to booty-shaking tribal progressive, psychoactive breaks, and blissful psytrance. To keep things interesting, some well-crafted genre blending can usually be expected. Whatever he plays, you can be sure that it will be groovy and smoooooove.

ALICE ENGELHARDT was born in Washington State in 1974 and is the fifth of six children born to artistic parents. At age five, she was influenced by her two older sisters drawings of people and was inspired to start drawing as well and has considered herself an artist ever since. http://www.aliceengelhardt.com
HOUSTON S WIMBERLY III I have spent many years traveling from place to place and absorbing the surroundings that I have found myself thrust in. And, it is in these places that my work takes on some of the elements of what I see, taste, and smell. Some of my creations come from my dreams which carry at times some symbolic thoughts. I am mostly self-taught and I find that I don't care much for the academic approach to art. I guess that I am to restless though I have had some great art instructors in my early years. I mostly work with oils on canvas, but I will experiment with just about anything that burst forth the desired effect. http://bluetemplearts.com/

RAMIRO (Uniting Souls – SEA) A native of Bluefields, Nicaragua, Ramiro was exposed to Caribbean, Latin, and multi-cultural music from an early age, an experience enhanced by his years in New Orleans where his family relocated. During his early college years in San Francisco, Ramiro converged upon the electronic music phenomenon that was beginning to explode in the early 90s. From the Wicked Full Moons to Come-Unity, Stompy Stomp, and the legendary Sunset outdoor parties, Ramiro drew inspiration from being a part of the West Coast underground movement, which has now earned its place in the history of American electronic music culture. With the support of friends, Ramiro began producing his own events to showcase the talents of many local artists and musicians, and thus, in 1997, Uniting Souls was born. A resident of Seattle since 2000, Ramiro continues to work tirelessly to create a nurturing environment, ripe for artistic expression, having produced over 400 shows in the Northwest, and having played hundreds of others, from SF to LA, Miami to New York, Mexico City to Hawaii. All the while, Ramiro has been spearheading the recently launched record label Uniting Souls Music, with 3 consecutive sold-out releases, and more on the way. In addition to wearing all these hats, Ramiro LOVES dj'ing, with a penchant for deep stompy house. Welcome to Ramiro's house! http://www.unitingsouls.com; http://www.myspace.com/unitingsoulsmusic

In the Broken Disco Electro Playhouse:
KNIFEHANDCHOP (Tigerbeat6 - Toronto) Billy Pollard became known as Knifehandchop after releasing his first album at age 18. He has been consistently producing fresh, new music ever since. His style blends elements of electro, hip-hop, house, techno, booty, and dancehall reggae to produce songs that either fit into one of these genres, or blend them together to create something unclassifiable and uniquely his own. Early in his musical career, Knifehandchop released a string of popular and illegal 7' records and CDs for British record label Irritant Records. These records resulted in loads of mainstream magazine attention, being covered by Mixmag, Muzik, URB, XLR8R, Vice Magazine and more. Since that point, he has becoming a longtime staple of kid606's Oakland-based Tigerbeat6 records, releasing his two most recent albums through them. The first album, entitled Rockstopper, is a hard-edged and jarring take on raves and hip-hop, whereas his latest full length 'How I Left You' - is much more melodic and emotional, while still veering towards dance sensibilities. After 'How I Left You' was released, Knifehandchop changed his focus from releasing full-length albums to making singles and 12' records featuring a new sound that is tailored to the dance floor. His first production in this regard was the much-hyped booty anthem 'Dirty NewYork' on Tigerbeat6. Modeselektor and Knifehandchop have also teamed upfor a split release on Shock out records called 'Weed Wid Da Macka' which features vocals by famed Jamaican dancehall star Ninjaman. This was followed by a huge electro remix by Knifehandchop of the current smash UK single 'Thou Shalt Always Kill' by Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pipon Lex Records. http://www.knifehandchop.com
NOVATRON (LIVE! amBASSador) vs SHAPESHIFTER (Seattle Breakbeat Association)
Novatron (LIVE! amBASSador - Seattle) A man of peace, a man of truth and a man of some serious fucking wickedvoodoo science. Nova blazes on-- from dusty bordertowns to urbanUtopia. Using / abusing the Korg Electribe line of outboard modules, our man brings the electro- breaks solid and deep. His sound is thickand highly danceable. Every performance is an improvised mixture ofbeats and bass; keeping the flow intetresting as well as making theheads happy while they dance. This is not music for sitting back andscratching your chin. It is the dancefloor that Nova has engaged andhis audience makes it clear that they are grateful for the favor. http://www.myspace.com/novatron
Shapeshifter Currently a driving member of the SEATTLE BREAKBEAT ASSOCIATION, Shapey continues to bring the art of turntablism to the world of electronic music. Known for hip-hop and nu skool breaks, down tempo and D&B, Shapey's distinct style of DJing is a must see. Striving to utilize the turntable as an instrument, Shapeshifter represented as a strong member of the ten-piece funk/improv band, MARMALADE (DIG Records), with a residency at Tost Lounge in Fremont for over three years. With mad skills of turntable artistry and event production under his slipmat, Shapey has helped create the magic of Fremont's Mardi Gras Masqurade Ball 2005 & 2006, Critical Mass-Seattle's Burningman Recompression 2004 & 2006, Phoenix Fest 2005, and produces the 6-year running Gathering of the Ram. Shapeshifter has played with many of Seattle's premier talent such as, Freeschool featuring REGGIE WATTS, KEXP'S DAREK MAZZONE, Wax Orchid recording artist, KJ SAWKA, BLOC Records recording artist, BR8, as well as, KRS-1, STORM & the BALLS, CHRIS BALLEW, COMMON MARKET, THE REBELZ, MAKTUB, and rocked such venues as The House of Blues and Club Ice in Las Vegas, Le Bunker (Rio de Janeiro, Brasil), Le Floride's 30th Anniversary Party (Nantes, France) and IOT Disco Teche in Tarragonna, Spain. http://www.myspace.com/djshapeshifter
ABSTRACT SOUL - 2X2 DJ set featuring Jerry Abstract & Nordic Soul (Decibel / Broken Disco - Seattle)

Hailing from Detroit but since transplanted to Seattle, Jerry Abstract is a known name throughout the art and electronic music worlds. Recently tagged as a 'Next 100' artist for URB Magazine in 2007, he is starting to come into his own as a talented producer as well. Jerry maintains a hectic DJ schedule and occasionally treats audiences to live sets, plus creates tracks in his studio for labels like Berlin's Shitkatapult, San Francisco's Semisexual, Detroit Underground, and Seattle's Fourthcity and Memex. Notable previous appearances include Detroit's Movement during DEMF, Tresor in Berlin, Tonic in NYC, and of course the Decibel Festival. He has played alongside the likes of Richie Hawtin, Derrick May, Ellen Allien, Apparat, T.Raumschmiere, Bruno Pronsato, Apendics Shuffle, Green Velvet, and tons more! Abstract is also an established designer, serving as Creative Director for Decibel and heading up his own Fixeplix design studio. In Seattle, Jerry Abstract has raised his game to join the city's elite, bringing a positive attitude and skills to match. http://www.fixelplix.com
Nordic Soul is the solo moniker of Decibel Festival brainchild Sean Horton. The name 'Nordic Soul' describes Horton's production aesthetic, which fuses the soulful sounds of Detroit's urban landscape (Horton's upbringing) with the ethereal textures and melodies associated with Northern Europe (Horton's heritage). Nordic Soul's solo releases, remixes and collaborations range from instrumental hip-hop to deep techno and often pay homage to multiple genres within a single track. As a producer, Horton's vast array of influence spawns from almost 20 years as a musician (guitar, bass, and keyboards) and 15years as a DJ and avid music collector. As a performer Nordic Soul brings charisma and technical prowess to the stage, sharing it with adiverse selection of talent including: Funkstorung, Luomo, Monolake, Four Tet, T. Raumschmiere, John Tejada, Tipper, Matthew Dear and Derrick May amongst many others. Horton also performs on the laptop with synth-pop quartet 'Synth Club' (featuring Reggie Watts on vocals)and the soulful house quintet 'Loveslap' (featuring KJ Sawka on drums). Known as 'the busiest man in Seattle techno,' Nordic Soul is a key member of the growing U.S. electronic music scene and clearly here to stay. http://www.myspace.com/nordicsoul
RECESS (Shameless / Broken Disco - Seattle) Raised on the industrial, new wave, and pop music of the time, in thelate 80's Recess found his second home at the now defunct Club Underground in Seattle's U-District. Using these early experiences as a platform, he started collecting records and honing his skills at various clubs around the Northwest. Recess is the main force behind local collective Shameless (responsible for Broken Disco, Electric Avenue, BootyLIB, the Official Decibel Festival after parties and numerous other local one offs with artists such as Drop the Lime, Egyptian Lover, Godfather & Tittsworth) and he continues to turn heads with his unique take on dance music. He's played alongside heavy hitters such as Modeselektor, Green Velvet, Felix Da Housecat, Damian Lazarus, MSTRKRFT, John Tejada, DJ Assault, Ewan Pearson, Smash TV and could quite easily be caught playing electro/disco punk at one club, baile funk/bmore club/ghettotech at another, or techno/house depending upon the crowd and party. His versatility has led to being nominated in 2006 for the Seattle Weekly's Best Local DJ contest. http://www.simplyshameless.com
INTROCUT (Fourthcity / Broken Disco - Seattle) Dj introcut member of the Fourthcity Crew... Intro's been playin records for over 10 years...Matt spins many different stylezzz of music, hiphop, downtempo, glitch, electronic, Afro/brokenbeat, house, techno, dub, electro, drum & bass, 80s, space funk, jazz etc... just about anything he likes...and he likes it all, except for most top 40 rap and young country, he hates that stuff... Intro is known for his scratch N Technics... And has been a resident dj for 3 years at the Lo-Fi Performance Gallery's popular Tuesday night, "Stop Biting"... One of Seattle's longest lasting hiphop nights. That includes other Fourthcity members - Kamui, Hideki, Bumblebee, Absolutemadman, M'Chateau and MC Sage. Plus some of Seattle's best breakers (circle of fire & friends) and frequent guest djs & MCs... http://www.myspace.com/introcut
NAHA (djnaha.com - Seattle) In her ten years behind the decks, NAHA has crafted her mixing style and technique which is as diverse as the genres she spins, including techno, breakbeats, digital hardcore, hip-hop, and jungle. She has found an amalgamation of these sounds in her specialty, breakcore. In Seattle she has held dozens of residencies, hosted on air and online radio shows and performed with bands Exorcismo and Black Pill Book. Naha's ability to keep her style updated and young at heart, has won her fans from all circles. While most DJs that delve into darker territories tend to separate themselves from the more accessible forms, Naha has been uniquely able to keep the interest of people from all genres; making a NAHA party a banging good time!!

In the Chickenhed Downtempo Dinosaur:
Chickenhed Presents :: The Intelligent Designosaur Pro-Creation La Brea Tard Pits Exhibit in 3D
ChickenHed would like to thank you for your participation and inquiries into our room and what we have planned. Unfortunately, there have a been a few issues with regards to some of our performers and Frog Pocket is no longer able to make it. Also Matt.01 of Hakea is taking a personal sabbatical from music these days and will not be joining us either.
But do not fret! Do not frown! ChickenHed is prepared.
We would like to announce and introduce Eric Seiche.
Seiche will be accompanying Matt.00 (of Hakea) and their performance will be an original creation from the two of them. They will be creating and developing multiple layers of sound and sonic structure to fill your head while your brain feels happy, confused, floaty and calm. The resulting product will be uniquely theirs and ChickenHed is very excited to host the creation of such a team.
Also, while ChickenHed is very sad about Frog Pocket's inability to make it out to the US, we feel that the replacement we have lined-up is extremely worthy and honorable of filling the shoes of the great Frog Pocket. The brilliant and wonderful Kixotek will be filling the void left by the absent Frog Pocket and we feel that he will fulfill this role with grace.
If you have not heard the brilliance that is Kixotek yet, please feel free to check out his MySpace and/or his website. His MySpace is: http://myspace.com/kixotekka and his website is: http://www.abortnow.com
KIXOTEK is a door which goes to a place up on a mountain where the sun is exploding through tall evergreen trees and the ground is covered with interesting moss which is kind of doing this swirly dance and everything is green at first glance but actually that's just what it looks like from where you are standing and oh the moon is here too and so are all our ancestors and by the way every particle is a part of who you are and alway will be but don't be scared or anything because as you've probably noticed by now it feels really good to just dance.
AQUARIUS RISING (Chickenhed - Portland) As waves of time crash against a material shore, Aquarius Rising pioneers the burgeoning Nu-Age scene. Their music engages the listener in a process of inter-reuniting the mind, body and Other, preparing the consciousness of all humanity for the next evolutionary step taking place in the year 2012: the true dawning of the Aquarian Age. Join them in this modern ancient ritual of ecstatic transformation through sound as they bend and blend the musics of all space and time into an Interactive Multimedia Excursion through the very depths of Humanity's Utmost Potential. http://www.chickenhed.us
NADA (Spaz / Katabatik / 5lowershop / T-kamp / Tear) music is an amalgamation of manifold sensory projections, thoughts, textual reproduction, and sexual side effects. The maximum daily requirement. NADA continues to fuse the sonic detritus of decontextualized dream fragments like a sightless, mad, compassionate, lecherous hermaphroditic deity obsessed with the manipulation of vibrations in an elastic medium. http://tearsounds.com/
DESOLATION WILDERNESS (FUKDUP Records / Benbecula / Aphonia / Kaleidoscope) Desolation Wilderness is Nicolaas Zwart, of Olympia. He has been making music since his teens, recording on a variety of formats and with a multitude of analog and digital instruments. Desolation Wilderness as a project has slowly changed from entirely computer based electronic music to studio recorded and manipulated abstract pop music. Influences include the Glam of bands like T. Rex and Pleasure Forever, the 60's radio pop of Motown, and the tape experimentation of Music Concrete.
Visuals by: KILLING FRENZY
We would like to apologize to anyone who was excited for Frog Pocket and/or Hakea and for the confusion/troubles we have caused. Trust us when we say that our lineup retains the ChickenHed Seal of Approval and that it will be as equally inviting as the original.

so WILL this be a joe camel sponsored event again? the promoter's silence isn't very encouraging.
i think it would be nice if this time the promoters actually gave us the heads up AHEAD of time. i don't wanna pay 30 bux just to have my night out used to promote smoking.
