Auraquake Records - Pacifico, CA
PARUS is a psychedelic music project of twin brothers Valentin and Mark Tarasov that was born in the summer of 2000. Parus has
performed on numerous stages, including 2005 performances at the Burning Man Festival and the annual Love Parade in San Francisco. Also Performed at Brain Busters party Japan, Psyvader Party.
Currently Valentin Tarasov is a sound engineer for Mobius, and a Composer of Project Parus.
Psilogod
Viral Vibes - Reno, NV
At the current age of 25, Psilogod (Kevin Kolstad) has 12 years of
producing experience beginning at the age of 13 with a boss dr. 5 drum machine. With influences ranging from industrial to death metal, to pop and psytrance, he has found a way to blend aggressiveness with harmonic melodies, structure within unorthodoxed arrangements,
allowing the listener to experience a range of emotions within one song. Formerly with Reno's industrial rock outfit Kill Kelly, Kevin now strives to penetrate the electronic music scene throughout the world with Psilogod. This will be the epitome of his efforts and sound he wishes to share with the world.
Freaks of Nature
Manic Dragon/Quantum Frog - PDX
Two freaks: Jeffrey, "jungli" from the ancient capital of Kyoto Japan, and Jamey (aka DJ Manifest, freakazoid, sasquatch) from Oregon USA, came together on the psychedelic dance floors of North West Nature. While from opposite sides of the planet, they shared a common vision: psychedelic music. Jeffrey had been into psychedelic rock for years before arriving in Goa during his
highschool escapade in South India. Jamie, who had studied audio/midi electronic music production, found his musical purpose on the dancefloors of Goa style parties which had migrated to his corner of the planet. Over the next decade, he became a pioneer figure in the NW trance scene, DJing across the West Coast and beyond and being a focal point for party organizing. Now the two have teamed up as the audio production unit, Freaks of Nature, further exploring the boundaries of mind bending music and causing dancers world-wide to Freak IN Nature.
DJ Eckoe
Molecular/Ultimae Records - SEA
kicking off his DJ career in 1998 Eckoe has weaved a long
journey through the outskirts of the psy community using the love for
the obscure and interest in electronic development within his music
and visual art creations. Eckoe sharpened his skills and abilities as
a DJ, promoter, and deco artist in and throughout the Texas psytrance
and burner communities with such collectives as Texaliens, Shiva
Shakti, UMP, Mistical Productions, Atrium Obscurum, and Last Laugh .
Now, based in Seattle, WA, he has found himself redefining his
identity and is the NW resident DJ for the French chill-psyambient
label Ultimae. His style and approach to his morning sets brings forth
a deep, yet uplifting sound and energy. Intensity and clarity is the
vibe he focuses on while tribal/progressive with a touch of Goa is
what his sound has been described as.
