OSIRIS INDRIYA

Osiris Indriya is a true magician behind the decks. His studies in hermetic ritual magick and years of schooling in music composition have merged into an orgiastic explosion of tribal percussion, deep atmospheres, and chunky relentless basslines. His hard and funky tribal progressive sound has been featured along side Simon Posford (Shpongle / Hallucinogen - Twisted Records), Ticon (Digital Structures), Atmos and Human Blue (Spiral Trax / ACDC) and has made him as an official label DJ for Iboga Records from Denmark (www.iboga.dk). Osiris has performed peak hour sets at Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo, BC; the Earthdance hub event in Laytonville, California; The Dreamtime Festival in Paonia, CO; The Double 6 in Kuta, Bali; and countless underground forest parties, beach parties, club nights and concerts all over the US, Canada, and Japan.

Driven to take Seattle to the next level, Osiris has been deep into creating several projects. He co-founded Infinite Connections Event Production Company to bring the best of Europe's tribal progressive trance music and world class art to the Pacific Northwest in a series of events called IOSIS Art Parties. All this has helped inspire the release of his all original progressive and downtempo CD, "Reach Within" as well as a remix of Antix's "Little Honey" with Australia's SunControlSpecies released by Iboga Records on the album "Twin Coast Remixes".

In addition to a blossoming music career, Osiris is a painter and digital artist with regular gallery showings with his works which describe the journey of the seeker discovering the truth of his being. Amidst all the projects, being a DJ and producing original music combined with his spiritual studies continue to be Osiris' focus.

Over the past couple of years Johnny has been on a steady rise with no signs of slowing. He has become one of the top trance DJ's on the West Coast and is the trance "go to" guy in Seattle. From an opening set where you'd hear a melodic progressive sound, to a peak hour set full of uplifting euphoric trance, he continues to push the envelope night after night. On top of hosting his own show "The Sound of Trance" on c89.5fm every month, you can find his live sets being shared in online forums and airing on internet radio stations all over the world. He’s been hard at work in the studio and expects his first track to be released sometime in 2008.

He's been handpicked to play alongside Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, ATB, Above & Beyond, Blank & Jones, Christopher Lawrence, Sander Van Doorn, George Acosta and Kyau & Albert to name a few.

It is via these electric performances that the world is starting to hear Johnny Monsoon's sound.....and they like what they hear.

Hyperfunk has been Holding down a Club residency for the last 5 years, running a club night for the last 3 years, and playing Raves and Clubs all over the US and Canada. He was voted 2007's Number One Seattle Club Dj, on www.Nwsource.com. Now teaming up with the legendary Northwest Production Company USC, the sky is the limit for this dj. HyperFunk has warmed up the decks for Benny Benassi, Bad Boy Bill, Dj Dan, and Donald Glaude to name a few. Armed with an arsenal of funk, and seemingly unceasing energy, this dj's mission is simple; make your body move!

With Seattle as his home now, SoulKid has become a staple in the Seattle music scene in recent years. Regarded as the Pacific NorthWest Florida Funky Breaks King, SoulKid brings non-stop breakbeat anthems to the dancefloor. Blending Miami bass and catchy female vocal hooks, he works the crowd to a frenzy and then some! Without a doubt, SoulKid moves the Soul.

Webbwerx / Lovetribe - SEATTLE, WA

Seattle's first and only Kandi Trance DJ. DJ Bouncy made quite a name for himself because of the unique nature of his music. His style could be described as taking the energy of Hard Dance and combining it with the melodies and vocals of Happy Hardcore creating a very catchy and yet very danceable style. His debut was in July of 2005 at a show called "Blackout 3," however he was in the partying scene for over five years, making him a veteran to the scene. Few months after his debut, Bouncy became a resident at a club known as "The Spot." There he quickly became one of the club favorites and played there weekly. Bouncy is definitely one DJ you should be expecting to hear from in the future.

With a cult following of raging Happy Hardcore stomping Kandee Kids, Jimni Cricket is Seattle's all out best and most well known HHC DJ. With more shows under her belt during her years of HHC domination then most DJs will ever attend, let alone play. She has proven time again and again that she owns HHC in Seattle. DJ Jimni Cricket is also known for her style of Oldskool Hardcore/Drum and bass. She showed off her skills on Analog Warfare, c89.5, NAHM, and many other radio shows.




IAN K - LIVE PA (with Special Guest Vocalist Lightshow Princess)

Ian K got started producing a few years ago, after spending a lot of time as an MC for DJ's spinning UK Hardcore. Lately, he has been splitting his time between MC'ing for UK Hardcore, production and playing out with his Live PA, and also doing a few DJ sets from time to time.

Thanks to the support of the numerous great crews in Seattle, such as Funshine, Webbwerx, Smokeshack DJ's, Check6,and Pussycat Productions, Ian has had the opportunity to keep trying new things and to present his view of Hard Dance to the people.

2007 was a great year, and this dynamic musician is working hard on making 2008 even better. More tracks, more shows and more fun! While he has slowed his gigs down this year, Ian K will always be bringing fresh tunes from the LAB for your enjoyment! This year has already yielded an amazing single entitled "I'll Be Waiting" which will be performed LIVE at Hakuna Matata 4 with vocalist Lightshow Princess!

A chance encounter with insane turntable junkie Chris "Delirium" Tremens in the wasteland of Enumclaw proved to be the catalyst they both needed to wreak havoc on eardrums of the followers of techno everywhere.

An electronic music devotee, Sonny Chiba specializes in Funky crowd-devastating Breaks that blend influences from both the UK, and North America. He likes to interact with the crowd, and always gets the party cracking. Representing the vibrant Seattle music scene to the fullest, Sonny Chiba is at the forefront of the music culture here.

RANDALL GLENN

In 1997, at the age of 18, Randall met a man by the name of Alain Octavo. Alain was one of the top promoters for Feel Good Entertainment, which was one of the biggest production companies in the bay area. Alain asked Randall for a demo after hearing him play at a local house party, and everything took off from there. Randall was asked to play at Feel Good's next massive, "Splender Blender." After Randall filled the room and rocked thousands of people, he was approached by many other local production companies. Since then his career has skyrocketed.

He has played alongside John O' Callaghan, Sean Tyas, Paul Oakenfold, and many other major players in the scene. He has also played at many major venues including Palace in Sydney, Australia, and other venues in New York, Miami, Dallas, Detroit, Phoenix, and in his home state of California.

He is looking forward to the future and what it has to offer, and hoping that he can give something back to the scene that has carried him this far.




CHRIS PAAPE

Chris was introduced to electronic music in the late 80’s. Back then the music was relatively simple sequenced “MOD” files that circulated around the world on private BBS (bulletin board systems). The sounds that were being produced were unlike any traditional music of the time and finding the next cool track became an obsession. Work, school, the demands of life resulted in a disconnection between Chris and the music until many years later. In 2000 Chris was reintroduced in a huge way. The music had changed, as had the scene that grew around it and Chris found himself out to see the big international DJ’s that came to town as well as the local Seattle DJ’s on a weekly basis.

With a growing desire to be behind the decks instead of in front, Chris took the leap in May of 2007 buying turntables and a mixer. Within a couple months, the offers to play private parties started to come in. A public debut on C89.5 FM Seattle followed in December 2007, and now only a year later Chris finds himself playing regularly in Seattle’s most popular nightclubs along-side the likes of Judge Jules and D:Fuse.

The first one was thrown by Hoover Entertainment (now Beat Affinity), and Tytan Studios on September 10th 2004. Jesse and Jessica packed out the Catwalk that night with killer sets from Reid Speed, The Funkist, 360 BPM Crew, SoulKid vs. Laoboyy, and lots more.

It was definitely a night to remember!

We are excited to take you back to that same vibe this September 12th!!
